Payments for puppies can be made via cleared check, cashiers check, credit cards, or PayPal payment.

TYPICAL PROCEDURES FOR BUYING A PUPPY -  If interested in purchasing a puppy, read our Purchase Agreement, and contact me to discuss if an Aussie is a good fit for your home, this is very important to us.  If we agree an Aussie is a good fit for you, a $200 deposit holds a puppy.   I like to send an invoice via paypal to your email, with photo and puppy number referenced,  so we both have a good record of the transaction, and to collect the deposit by credit card, debit card, bank draft, or on occasion other arrangements can be made for a deposit.  Then if you wish, you can make payments after the deposit until you pickup your puppy, or simply pay the remaining balance when you pick up your puppy at 8 weeks of age with cash or credit card payment ( or the date we have arranged)   Please note puppy deposits are not refundable. Feel free to email, text or call with questions.  785-230-2254, or

FAQs Regarding Puppies

  • What color are the puppies' eyes? - Eye Color of the Puppies is not known until about 3 to 4  weeks of age. Sometimes with marbled eyes, or with red tris or red merles, the color fully changes later at 5 weeks.
  • At what age can I get my puppy? - 8 weeks
  • How do I buy a puppy? - See detailed buying procedures below or ask me when we visit, I'd be happy to explain.
  • What food do you recommend? - We had used Taste of the Wild Puppy High Plains Prairie Puppy dry food, but  recently switched to ****Victor Hi-Pro Plus for active dogs and puppies as its a 5 star rated dog food. See for up to date information on dogfood quality and ratings.    We just switched from Taste of the Wild to  Victor Dry dog foods, Canine Select Line for our Adults again because is so highly rated.  There is several flavors available in that line - we do not use the grain-free options since there is some evidence that grain free MAY cause heart and fertility issues in dogs (this is still being researched).    A sample bag of the Victor puppy food will be given to you when you pickup your puppy for use in transitioning to your preferred food, or just to help get you started on Victor.                                                                                   I do still believe that Taste of the Wild Puppy dry food is an excellent choice as well, at least for the puppy stages of a dog's life.  Please ask your vet or consult the dog advisor website for the latest ratings.
